We have really easy to understand policies for both return and exchange scenarios for all our cool products! So, just pick an item from the menu below and you can easily learn about the great options we give you in case your autothing ends up underneath the postal workers' porch deck.    :a)

It's true -- autothings are GUARANTEED to be 100% cool or your money back! If you receive something and don't like it for any reason (and we mean any), simply return the item within 15 days of your receipt date and we'll refund the purchase price less applicable fees. If the exchange or return of an item in question is due to a shipping mistake on behalf of autothing.com, we will pay for all shipping costs (Ground or Priority) to make certain you are completely satisfied with your purchase and our customer service. Just another autothing found nowhere else!

Unopened // Unused Item - 15 Days - Product Refund
All unopened and unused returns within 15 days of your receipt date will be given a refund less^1.2.3. After this period, you cannot return the unopened and unused item for any reason excluding a product defect.

Defective Item - 30 Days - Exchange Only
If the item you ordered becomes defective within the first 30 days of receipt (and thus has been opened/used), you may return it for EXCHANGE ONLY, since this is the only way any manufacturer will honor their given warranties on product liability. You must send us the defective item first in order to receive the replacement.

Opened // Used Working Item
Other than the occasional manufacturing issue, all sales are considered final. This is the case simply because manufacturers do not take back opened and/or used items.

¹FOR ALL RETURNS & EXCHANGES: Please email autothing.com your return or exchange request, which should include your name, product information, order number (found on invoice), and reason for the product exchange or return. We will send you an RA# (Return Authorization Number) in order to initiate the return or exchange.  No returns or exchanges will be accepted without a valid RA# and RA#'s are valid for seven (7) days after issuance. If you are returning because of a mistake on our part, we will reimburse the entire return S&H cost at no expense to yourself. But (you knew one was coming), if you are exchanging or returning because of any other issue, you must pay the S&H charge to ship the item(s) to autothing.com, including the S&H for defective products. We HIGHLY suggest that you purchase Insurance AND any form of Delivery Confirmation because we cannot be held liable if the return never gets to us OR does and is damaged. We require that you use the United States Postal Service, as UPS and FedEx will NOT deliver to our commercial-grade PO Box.

In the rare case of defect, we will first determine through our own process whether or not the product was subjected to weather, modification, or any form of faulty installation procedure (such as a fall) that could have possibly caused the given defect.  If it is deemed that product was damaged by neglect or intention, it may be returned with no refund granted, as manufacturer warranties to not cover these issues. Otherwise, watch your mail because a new pair is headed your way!

When we say "decals," we include pretty much anything that sticks or clings to your vehicle. Products in this category include all decals we produce, any decals already pre-packaged, Prostripe (or other) brand striping tapes, and any sunscreens. Will will assist you where we can on installation and application tips, but please use your best judgment and contact us for help if needed, since we'll be happy to assist you with your autothing purchase! Also, keep in mind that all decals are visible to the eye before they are applied; you can use this luxury to judge beforehand whether or not you love them, whether they are correct, and so forth.

AVS Blackouts rule and are really easy to install- no kidding! We'll just take this opportunity to tell you not to bend them to much, lol. While you may possibly find a need to do so during installation, read the instructions (included) and app tips we have on this site because we do not accept returns or exchanges on fractured or broken Blackout lenses due to improper installation techniques (even though we'll stress again how truly easy it is to stick these great looking things on!)

Technically speaking, these are already "opened" when you get them. So, we guess all returns and exchanges are dependent upon the fact that these be in as-new condition (especially the Premium Chrome key chains -- they're so nice and a tad more costly than their less expensive counterparts.)

In regards to the tire valve caps, double-check that there's four because they're kind of small and roll around a lot if loose, lol.

All license plate related items require some sort of screwdriver to install, but we suspect everyone can do that, so just be careful not to hurt yourself, since the items in this category are quite hardy, lol. As for the acrylic (or whatever) plate covers, do not screw them in too hard on the edges because plastic is not as strong as a steel screw (but if you ordered the plastic nylon screws, less to worry about).

Wiper blades from Bosch are extremely rugged and of high quality. The most likely issue we can foresee is damaging the blade during a faulty installation, which is something we cannot accept as a return item. However, all Bosch products include very easy-to-understand installation instructions, so you shouldn't have any problem.

If you placed an order for one of our Special Deals and an there's an issue with a certain part of the order, please contact us with the situation and we will respond to appropriately help you resolve any problem you may be experiencing. Note that Special Deals are just that, a combination of items offered at a discounted price; therefore, any return [w/out exchange] of a single part of the Special Deal will not be given full return credit (full credit may be given for a complete return of the Special Deal, in accordance with the policies noted above).

³All returned items must be in "as-new" condition; therefore, please include any warranty slips, manuals, and/OR accessories that they originally shipped with. Failure to do so may cause a delay or partial deduction from your credit. Please note that autothing.com is not liable if you order the wrong product. We try to assist you by including fields for your vehicle information so that we may assure the item you are buying is correct (if this is applicable to the product) and we also include the appropriate links to check vehicle compatibility. Some products may not be legal for highway use in certain states. Please check your local laws regarding some products, as autothing.com makes no representation, either explicit or implied regarding their legality.  Autothing.com will not be held responsible in any legal issue arising out of using the products. All returns must be shipped with postage pre-paid and if product damage occurs during any return shipment, we are not liable and will not cover any additional damage incurred, so please insure item and purchase any form of Delivery Confirmation in case of an un-foreseen situation. All NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) checks will incur a $25 service fee and all refused shipments will incur a $5 fee.
