MOVIE
NEWS!
--> GM donated 300 vehicles for the highway chase -- each was
destroyed in some way. |

Like you, we here at autothing love
great looking vehicles!- we consider them a form of art just
like any movie from Hollywood... it gets even better when the
two are combined to create an unforgettable experience such as
Gone In 60 Seconds did. Because humans aspire to do
things better "the next time around," the two-brother duo that
created The Matrix movie trilogy has blown every
single auto chase sequence you have EVER seen right out of the atmosphere in The Matrix: Reloaded.
For this movie, a two mile true-to-scale highway was
built complete with the following "are you serious?!?"
additions: overpasses, curves, highway signs, center median
lane, side-walls and cement barriers. When you can't find two
miles of highway to close down in California just for your
movie, you may as well build one of your own. Check out
all the screenshots we've compiled and read the blurbs that
accompany each one for rumors about the movie, scenes and
characters... oh yeah- autos too! Let us note that
General Motors bought this movie
flat-out, lol (nothing but Chevy's, etc.) |

Our favorite new villains- the Twins (see both
below). Sure they look like Milli Vanilli,
but what the hey. Here you see one riding in a nice- not to
mention our top choice-
pick-up truck from Cadillac, the EXT. This truck is really sweet
looking and it just
proves that Cadillac is out to win everyone. As for Twin, he can
phantom-shift
into a ghostly [and ghastly] spirit to move around- a very cool
trick, indeed. |

Here you get the Cadillac EXT and the new CTS
sport sedan. We still cannot figure
out if GM knew ahead that these two would be in the film and
therefore designed
them to look so semi-futuristic or they were designed before the
film. Whatever
the case is, they sure picked the perfect vehicles during
casting. |

It's not JUST a motorcycle- it's a
Ducati! Gee, it seems no one in the
Future buys
or drives Ford, Dodge, Honda, Nissan, Lexus, Subaru, Jeep or
ANYthing else...
All we see are vehicles from GM like Pontiac, Oldsmobile and
another
Pontiac vehicle. Sticks out after awhile, if you pay attention. |

Looks like a pretty sweet Corvette here with
chrome rims and very sporty
presence which can almost be felt. Let's hope
eBay is going to
auction all of these vehicles off in a few more months
(not that we can afford those ridiculous high bids). |

What a scene- a sporty Cadillac CTS with an
Oldsmobile about to
flip right over off the cement median. We think since GM has
officially shuttered the Oldsmobile brand, they decided it
was the safest brand to destroy a few times, lol. Can
you believe they built this highway JUST for
this awesome film? A serious "wow". |

Here's Morpheus about to be hit by the evil Twins
driving in their sleek
and speeding black Cadillac EXT pick-up... |

Yet another great effect courtesy of The Matrix:
Reloaded!
Our theory is he splits the EXT when it hits him, but
guess you'll have to see the movie to know, eh? |
